New RSS Volleyball Newsfeed As editor of the Volleyball Newsletter, I get all sorts of volleyball related info sent each day. Lots of it gets deleted, interested items will be added to the next Newsletter etc. In order to make all this information available to readers (as soon as I receive it), I now provide a Volleyball Newsletter RSS news feed, just add the link below to your RSS news program.

Birmingham Volleyball
Hi, I was wondering if I could put a "players wanted" ad in your next newsletter for Birmingham VC? We have been in the National League div2 for quite some years, however last season we played with just six players for almost an entire season. Unsurprisingly we got relegated to the third division. COACH WANTED - MELKSHAM VOLLEYBALL CLUB
MELKSHAM VOLLEYBALL CLUB, a highly successful Wiltshire Club is seeking an experienced and qualified Club Coach, (owing to the retirement of one and overseas work commitments from an other). Melksham VBC operates two teams in the Wiltshire League and various Junior teams at all age levels with high ambitions for the future with a direct link to a local feeder school, where ex England player Sue Pierce coaches. We have over 50 players regularly training with all levels being catered for in separate sessions. We are consistently high in the junior rankings and have supplied players for SW, Regional and National league Teams, our Wiltshire League teams are first and second in Wiltshire Division 1 and will this year be promoted to Premier Division. Ladies Coach Wanted - Southampton
Southampton University are looking for a Ladies coach for next year. University starts in October and we normally enter the BUSA tournament, which takes place at the beggining of December-it is usually a weekend event. The girls train on Monday nights (8-10pm) and Fridays (6-7pm). We are looking to find someone that we can look up to and rely on, with the potential of staying on if they would like. Epsom Mixed & Junior Tournament
It has been an eventful Season for Epsom with mixed fortunes in the Surrey League and the National Cup competition, players coming and going etc. We are now looking forward to the summer tournaments and next Season. Having lost players during the Season, through injury and house moves we are keen to recruit new players - all standards are welcome! We are a friendly, mixed and sociable Club! Our summer tournament (4th) is on Sunday 9th July at Epsom College - mixed 6-a-side for adults and juniors (limited entry) - Local league/lower National league standard. Exeter Ladies Challenge Results
Once again, an excellent event with nine of the top teams from the area taking part. The event took the format of a league with every team playing timed matches against six other randomly selected teams. The results from the league session (after a couple of play-Off matches) formed the structure for three groups of triangular matches to decide the final places. INTERNATIONAL YOUTH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT IN BULGARIA Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends of Sport! The Organizing Committee welcomes you to Bulgaria! It is our honour and pleasure to invite you to take part in the International Youth Volleyball Tournament for “BG VOLLEY” Cup (June 17, 2006 – June 23, 2006), taking place in South Black Sea resort town of the same name(Primorsko) and in the town of Kiten at a distance of only 5 km. The two resorts are located on a beach of fine sand on a length of several kilometres. BG VOLLEY 2006, will be held from June 17, 2006 to June 23, 2006. Teams (girls’ and boys’) of the following age groups: 1988/1989/1990/1991/1992/1993/1994/1995, are invited to take part in the tournament. Primorsko and Kiten are resorts, which being developed centres of youth recreation, offer a great number of entertainments, disco clubs, nightclubs, Internet clubs, clean beaches of fine sand and many others. The organising committee will provide supplementary facilities for the group leaders and one person will participate free for each 15 participants (16), or two persons will participate free for each 25 participants (27). New USA Beach VB "performance-based reality television series"- From RSV Anyone who subscribes to the CSTV channel should check this out and report back to the group. I wonder how much they will show of the instruction sessions. "CSTV Networks and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour previously announced a groundbreaking, new performance-based reality television series to air on CSTV this summer. The series documents the top 16 women's collegiate senior volleyball players on and off the sand as they transition from the hard-court to the beach game during a three-day AVP Invitational Camp held this past March in the beach volleyball hotbed of Manhattan Beach, California. These 16 players were invited to the AVP Invitational Camp in March and went through drills and received instruction from three-time Olympic gold medalist Karch Kiraly, Olympic bronze medalist Holly McPeak and Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh.
