The 13th and 14th September saw our first indoor inaugural tournament take place, we received entries from across South Wales, the South West and even as far as Birmingham
take part in our event.
After an action packed weekend in both the men’s and ladies events we of course came down to two clear winners, Bridgend Men took the men’s challenge title with 51 points and Wiltshire Mavericks Ladies 2 winning the ladies event on 31 points with local opposition Cardiff Ladies coming in a close second with 20 points.
After careful deliberation we decided (by voting really!) that the most valuable players of the tournament were: Ben Fairweather (Portsmouth Kings) and Rosie Kirk (Wiltshire Mavericks).
We promise next year’s event will be even bigger and better and are looking forward to seeing all participating teams again next year.
