VOLLEYBALL ON DEMAND - DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE MATCH DVD (DivX) - TV / PC / MAC

The Volleyball Video Channel, allows you to download a Free DVD (DivX) copy of our match videos, for viewing on your TV / PC or MAC. For this we use the Video on Demand DivX DVD file format, ideal for everyone on a slow or fast broadband connection and perfect for watching on your TV (DivX supported DVD player required). 

To download, just copy and paste the required DivX Download URL links (listed below) into your DivX Player [File - Open URL) for automatic background downloading. You will require a copy of the free PC DivX Player (16MB) / MAC DivX Player (13MB), [you may also require a copy of the ac3filter Audio Dolby file for your sound card]. 

To preview the match, check out the quick view Windows media file (where available). Sports hall lighting varies from venue to venue and due to the encoding process, the windows media files often appear quite dark, the DVD versions are fine.  

Prefer to watch your volleyball from the comfort of your couch? No problem. Simply copy the DivX match files to disc (DVD+ / CD-ROM / Media Card) and watch them in comfort on your TV.

ONLINE VIDEO SERVICE

• Most match videos are in the DivX or WMV format for online video streaming.
• The default screen image will be approximately 20 cm x 15 cm.
• Each match video has been divided up in to "Sets" or "parts" (depending on the file size), so you don't have to download or watch the whole match in one viewing.
• The file size is about 280 MB per set or part.
• Some media players will buffer 10% of the file before starting, hence their may be a long pause at the beginning of each file.
• During busy times, the download may become jittery, just pause the media player for a short while (to let the player download a bit more of the file) before continuing with the match.
• If you are having problems viewing the match online with your media player, try downloading the file to your hard drive first. Right click the file name and select "save target as". Windows media player will also stop for short periods when your PC Processor usage reaches 100% (check via the Windows Task Manager), try closing all non required programs.
• To watch on your TV, download the file and transfer to a DVD disk or via USB etc.
